Somer, France & Controls & Switchgear, India). Leroy somer,
France is an Alternator division of Emerson Electric, USA).This
is an Alternator Manufacturing plant where Single and double
bearing & Single phase & Three phase Alternators are manufactured
in the range from 7.5 – 2850KVA .
Designation:-Sr.Engineer-Testing Job
Profile:- • Routine & Validation tests on Alternators like:-
HV Tests, Megger Tests, OCC, SCC, Transient, Temperature rise
(Heat run), Reactance measurement, Resistance measurment,
Harmonic analysis (THF, TIF). • Working on very sophisticated
Fluke instruments like Scope meter, Three Phase Power analyzer,
Micro ohmmeters, clamp meters, multimeters, Vibration meter,
Noise level meter. • To work on testing as per IEC, IS,
NEEMA. • Preparing all Test document using MS office (Excel,
word, PowerPoint). • Inspection & testing of all incoming
materials used in Alternators manufacturing. • To Train
supervisors & Technicians. • Design/ development of jigs and
fixtures for existing and new products. • Production
planning. • Ensuring achievement of production target on daily
basis as well as monthly basis. • To manage a team of
motivated team of Engineers, Supervisors,
Technicians. • Dealing with vendors. • Inspection of
Inward goods used in alternators manufacturing like:-. a)
Copper wire, copper strips, fibre glass cables, Diodes, fibre
glass sleeves, Copper lugs. b)
Electrical checks of all Inward goods. Previous Company: (From
May’96 to July’98, 2+Years) M/s CAPITAL METERS This is an
Energy Meter (used for domestic purpose) manufacturing plant at
Sector -8, Noida Designation:-Engineer-production
&planning Job Profile:- • To supervise the assembly of energy
meters. • Planning to achieve the daily production target.
