I am currently doing research in an area of finance called asset
pricing. I rely on the efficient market hypothesis to build
rational expectations models that can explain certain stylized
facts of the U.S. stock market including the high equity premium,
the high volatility, and the fluctuating and persistence
conditional volatility of market returns.
