Speciale Invest has launched a Rs 1,400?crore Growth Fund II aimed at backing deep tech startups from Series?A and later stages, particularly those that have achieved technical validation but are yet to build steady revenue streams. The fund will support around 12-15 companies, with average cheque sizes in the USD?5?million-8?million range, helping them scale operations, expand market reach, and accelerate commercial adoption of proven technologies. The capital will be deployed across sectors such as spacetech, advanced manufacturing, energy storage, quantum computing, health and biosciences, and defence technologies. Speciale has also appointed Vijay Jacob as General Partner to lead growth stage investments.
