Aruna Miller
Indian-born Aruna Miller is American politician and a member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 15, retained her seat in the election as a democrat.
Born in the south Indian city of Hyderabad, Miller has worked in Virginia, Hawaii, California and for the last twenty years in Montgomery County as an engineer. In addition, she has overseen programs that advanced access to schools, employment centers, and community facilities that are safe for pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users, and those with disability.

Kumar Barve
Delegate Barve, the Democrat Majority Leader, has also retained his seat, where he represents a district with a population of roughly 110,000 that is in central Montgomery County, Maryland.
Before becoming Majority Leader, Barve was elected as chairman of the Montgomery County Delegation during which he was assigned to the House Committee on Economic Matters. In addition, he has also served as the first Chairman of the Science & Technology Sub-Committee and has been an advocate of reforms to health insurance.
