Google Doodles That Made Occasions More Alluring To Indians
Alam Ara's 80th anniversary: Paying a high tribute to ‘Alam Ara’, the first Indian sound movie, Google has celebrated its 80th birth day with a doodle
on 14th march 2011. With this doodle, Google marked the anniversary of the release of Alam Ara, which was a huge hit in 1931. Google has recreated the classic scene in the doodle, by portraying the protagonist Alam Ara shying away from the young prince.
Independence Day: Google showcased its tribute to India, by creating a tricolored ribbon on its logo on 15th August 2013. On the occasion of India’s 67th Independence Day, Google doodle is decorated with saffron, white and green colors representing the Indian flag.
Srinivasa Ramanujan's 125th birthday: Google celebrated 125th birthday of Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan with a doodle on 22nd December 2012. The doodle depicted an Indian child drawing some mathematical figures and equations on the floor with a stick, when other children observe it. The bottom of the doodle features a numerical value of Pi to the 21st decimal point. This doodle was created with mathematical figures such as circles, semi-circles, squares and triangles.
