#2 Vinod Khosla
Khosla is an Indian born American businessman and venture capitalist who co-founded Sun Microsystems and served as its first CEO and Chairman in the early 1980s. in 2004 he formed his own venture called Khosla Ventures - a firm that is known to focus on venture investments in various technology sectors mostly, clean technology (- technology that includes recycling, renewable energy, green transportation and green chemistry, lighting and more).
Vinod Khosla holds a degree in electrical engineering from IIT Delhi, a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
#1 Sunder Pichai
Sunder Pichai, who hails from Tamil Nadu, presently serves as the senior vice president for Android, Chrome and Google apps at Google Inc. He received his Bachelors degree in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur with a silver medal. He pursued his M.S. from Stanford University and an MBA from Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania wherein he was given the name Siebel Scholar.
After joining Google in 2004, he went on to oversee the development of different apps such as Gmail and Google Maps. In 2010, he announced open-sourcing of the new video codec VP8 by Google and unveiled WebM – a new video format. Recently, in March 2013, Pichai was made the head of Android along with other Google products he oversaw.
