Nokia Finally Admits- Microsoft's Phone Is A Potential Risk

Bangalore: Nokia has recently made an SEC filing, admitting that its business could be negatively impacted with Microsoft developing its own Windows Phone device. There were rumors about such a device last year in July, just after Microsoft revealed the new Windows Phone 8 OS. However rumors faded when the entire lineup of devices was revealed by other manufacturers.

A little earlier, when Microsoft revealed its tablet very few people knew about it. This revelation then showed a product well built and quite attractive, showing that Microsoft could stand up in the hardware segment as well.

But what poses a threat is that Nokia and HTC run the WP8 on their device which has not managed to impress the general population at large. The design of the Microsoft Surface tablet has caught some peoples’ eyes, so the Windows Phone may bear the same excellent design and if the final package along with the camera is impressive, then Microsoft could be a winner itself.

What we need to expect from a Surface Microsoft Phone is its inner specs that would make it a winner. It refers to sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Processor along with a gig in the RAM, and internal storage capacity. A microSD card slot would definitely give a position the phone in front of Nokia and HTC flagships.

However, when Nokia has filed an SEC filing, it would also mean that potential risks are ahead. So when there is a possibility of a Surface Windows Phone, we can only keep ourselves with hopes held high as to what it is all about.
