Infosys May See Another Transition, V.Balakrishnan To Be Next CEO If Shibulal Gives Up The Post
Bangalore: The buzz around Infosys promoting an internal candidate to be company’s next chief executive is getting louder. And V.Balakrishnan, Head of Infosys BPO, Finacle, and India Business Unit and Chairman, Infosys Lodestone, is likely to be next CEO if Shibulal decides to give up his role, reports Business Standard.
Since Narayana Murthy returned to Infosys in June as Executive Chairman, the company saw major reigns in the management and there was exodus of executives. In August, Ashok Vemuri, Infy’s head for financial services and the Americas, left the company to run for iGate’s CEO chair. In the same month, vice president and financial services head for the Americas, Sudhir Chaturvedi, has put down his papers. And In July, Infy’s global sales head Basab Pradhan resigned from his post to join U.S. based cloud computing start-up CliQr.
