India Has World's Third Most Active Facebook User Base
Bangalore: India is ranking third as the world’s most active Facebook user base with 63 million users according to the SocialBaker’s Index. U.S. has topped the list again with 169 million unique users every month followed by Brazil with 33 million users.
The Daily Mail reported that over 600,000 U.K. visitors failed to visit Facebook in December. According to experts the confusion over the firm’s policies and Facebook Fatigue – a condition described as having too many friends on Facebook, might have led to the downfall of users as it went down 2.88 percent, alone in December, making U.K the sixth position in ranking.
According to another report from TOI, the problem could have also been due to ‘the number of big advertisements on the site which might have let down users.
Reports said that U.K.’s user base was equivalent to 53 percent market penetration last month, only after U.S. with 54 percent. However, India was ranked second in 2012 in the Total Facebook Users (Globally) List after U.S. which is still the number one till date.
