Facebook Will Let You Message Mark Zuckerberg For 5480

Bangalore: Facebook seems to be trying hard to generate revenue options, couple of weeks ago it was, recommending a friend or sign up on phone to get a $1 or about Rs 50 talk time, and now it is, sending a message on Facebook directly to its founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg for $100 which is about Rs 5500.

So if you have been longing to talk to Zuckerberg, this could be the perfect chance. Your paid message to Mark will be ensured that it reaches his Facebook inbox which otherwise would have got into his "other" folder, which is usually full of spam and unsolicited mail.

This move by Facebook, according to Mashable, is an attempt to both raise revenue at the company, and defeat spammers.

A Facebook spokesperson said: "We are testing some extreme price points to see what works to filter spam."

The test is a variant of the Facebook’s experiment that was announced in December which allowed anyone to message non-friends on Facebook for $1.

And this measure is also said to be an idea to see how far advertisers will go to get in touch with users and also to check its credibility as serious revenue driver.

With more than 16 million followers Zuckerberg has; it’s a wait and watch situation about how this move by Facebook will be welcomed by the users.
