Apple Launches iPhone 5S And 5C; iOS7 To Reach On Sept 18


Bangalore: In an event at Apple’s headquarters in California, U.S. the tech giant has launched its whole new product, iPhone 5C along with the next version of original iPhone, the iPhone 5S. iOS 7, the upgraded operating system from Apple will be made available for download from September 18th.

With the launch of iPhone 5S Apple has decided to terminate their flag ship model iPhone 5.

The cheaper iPhone from Apple is said to target the growing markets in India and china; reports TOI. On closely observing the cheapest variant from the manufacture, it is found to ditto iPhone 5 in its hardware specs however with a polycarbonate body. The model comes in green, grey, blue, peach and yellow color variants. The model will also sport iOS 7, the latest version of the operating system from the manufacturer.

The A6 processor that powered iPhone 5, still remains unchanged in iPhone 5C. The phone spots an 8 mega Pixel camera and supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Unlike iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S runs on A7 processor, claimed to be the most powerful incorporated with the iOS7 platform. The technology used in the A7 chip features the 64-bit desktop-class architecture and makes the gadget double fast as compared to its predecessors.
