The best example of leveraging the content and making a smaller company more valuable is the recent purchase of Instagram by Facebook. Although Google made a move in this direction by buying Blogger in 2003, but it couldn’t make much out of it. Plus, it invested a huge sum of money and resources in building and marketing Google+, which also failed to please internet users. So the wise thing now would be to buy and integrate Twitter on its social platform.
