Germany has high level of internet freedom, media and internet is generally well-respected, and has 73 percent of internet penetration. Though the amount of internet freedom have been challenged in recent years, internet maintained its steady freedom in the country, with most schools providing internet access to their students, mainly dedicated to computer rooms.
