The first COO of the company was Zuckerberg’s roommate in his Harvard days. Sometime around 2004, Zuckerberg had started neglecting Facebook and focusing on other projects like a file sharing site called Wirehog. In such circumstances, Dustin realized the opportunities that Facebook held and brought Zuckerbergs attention back to Facebook.
