Vietjet has announced the launch of ‘Startup Flight’, a cross border innovation program aimed at connecting the entrepreneurial ecosystems of India and Vietnam. The initiative is co-organized with Amity Innovation Incubator from India and Vietnam’s National Startup Support Center.
The program focuses on supporting startups in four fast growing sectors: Artificial Intelligence and Software, E-commerce and Retail, EdTech, and Transportation and Logistics. It invites entrepreneurs, individuals or teams of up to three from both countries to submit proposals by September 15, 2025.
Shortlisted entries will be guided by leading business mentors from India and Vietnam. Eight finalist teams (two from each category) will be selected to participate in the grand finale, where they will pitch live to a panel of investors from across the region.
Vietjet’s wide flight network will play a key role in the initiative, linking India’s major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kochi with Vietnam’s innovation hubs in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang. The airline aims to enable more accessible exchange of ideas, culture, and business collaboration between the two nations.
