Total Income of Zomato eyes to exceed Rs. 5000 crore in Q2FY25
A foodtech major & quick commerce platform, Zomato declared its financial statements for the second quarter of the current financial year – Q2 FY25. Comparatively, the Gurugram-based company’s revenue rate surged by more than 68.5% in Q2FY25. 
As per the consolidated financial results gotten from the National Stock Exchange – NSE, the operating revenue of the company is increased to 4,799 crore in Q2 FY25 from Rs 2,848 crore in Q2 FY24.
In order to raise 8, 500 crore from qualified institutional investors was permitted by the board of Zomato. This judgment was approved at the same time as its tough competitor Swiggy went public.  
In the second quarter of the financial year 2025, Zomato's food and delivery division generated 42% of total revenue, surging 30% to 2, 012 crore from 1, 546 crore in Q2 FY23. Overall revenue from the fast commerce vertical (Blinkit) and Hyperpure Supplies (B2B) increased by 129% and 97%, respectively, to Rs 1,156 crore & Rs 1,473 crore.
The profits of Zomato surged by 4.8 times, from 36 crore in the second quarter of the financial year 2024 to 176 crore in the second quarter of the financial year 2025, all thanks to a notable expansion and development in size. In the first quarter of the financial year 2025, the company's cost per rupee was Rs 1.00.
This makes as Swiggy, Zomato's severest competition, and gets ready to introduce on the public market. In the previous month, the Bengaluru-based company submitted its draft IPO papers with the motto of securing $450 million through a new offering.
As of today, the market capitalization of Zomato stands at 2, 26,645 crore, or $27 billion & its current price is 256.55.
