These 4 Indian College Dropouts Have A 200 Crore Startup Dream

Bangalore: Little did Steve Jobs; the tech legend know that his quote "Why join the navy if you can be a pirate?" could  drive four college dropouts from Kasargod, a small town in northern Kerala, to found a company and embark on a hot pursuit to turn it into a whopping 200 crore worth company.

Deepak, Hisam, Abhinav and Ashwin, four engineering students from LBS College of Engineering, Kerala, decided to quit their college studies and start a company based on a simple idea.

The ‘simple idea’ was to bridge the gap between the online and offline world. The ‘simple idea’ was to deliver the power of the internet on phones that couldn't access the web, using the SMS technology, reports Business Standard.

In 2008, the founders were in the sixth semester at an engineering college when they incorporated Innoz Technologies. The company later in 2011 started its commercial operations.
