Revenue Model

Knowlarity generates revenue by selling its hosted telephony products to businesses that pay per month. It claims to have over 10,000 paying SME customers. Some prominent enterprise customers include Pepsi, Convergys, Dr. Lal Path lab.

“Most of our marketing is done through internet. We do marketing through sponsored Google ad words, through better optimization of our SEO so that relevant potential customer can see our links, through facebook advertisements. Also with expanding networks in face book and LinkedIn we make ourselves visible to potential customers,” says Bipul Parua, Co-founder and CTO, Knowlarity.

Competition in India and abroad

Knowlarity provides a very comprehensive and versatile telephony solution spanning across different segments of the market, starting from minimal solution required by SME to full featured IVR solution for big enterprises. That is why their customer list includes small SMEs to big enterprises like Pepsi. There are competitors in different segments of the market e.g. twillio, plivo, exotel, ringcentral to name a few of them but none of them provide comprehensive solutions as Knowlarity.
