Mumbai Based LivQuik Raises Funds From Snow Leopard
Bangalore: LivQuik, a Mumbai based mobile payment startup has procured an undisclosed amount in investment from Snow Leopard Technology Ventures. With this deal Christopher Leigh Kolenaty, partner at Snow Leopard Technology Ventures will join the board of the LivQuik as an additional director. The startup plans to use the procured funds for marketing proposes and also to scale up its team, reports Iamwire.
LivQuik was founded by Mohit Lalvani, Yudhajit Nag Sen, Vinay Pinto and Suma Bhattacharya in 2012 and focuses on providing mobile payment solutions. On a different note, LivQuik is planning to launch its first product ‘QuickWallet’ which would let a user store details of payment mode and loyalty cards on their handset.
It offers the flexibility for a shopper to go shopping without carrying cards, cash or wallet except a smart phone. The startup also claims that the card information will be secure and will not be accessible by the merchants and it does not require any hardware installations on the merchant’s end.
