The Startup Demo Day 2025, ‘Connect 1.0’, hosted by C3iHub, the Technology Innovation Hub at IIT Kanpur, showcased five groundbreaking products developed by its incubated startups. The event brought together leaders from government, academia, industry, and the investment community, highlighting C3iHub’s mission to advance India’s technological self-reliance through homegrown innovation.
Among the key launches, the defense, surveillance, deep-tech, and cyber security sectors received a significant boost. Aerosys Aviation India Pvt. Ltd. introduced the Eliminator Kamikaze Drone, capable of autonomous precision operations in GPS-denied environments. Maraal Aerospace launched TEJASVAAN, a solar-powered high-altitude UAV with a 12-hour endurance, designed for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions. In blockchain technology, SecureDApp unveiled SecureTrace, a forensic platform that traces and analyzes illicit transactions with automated investigation tools. xIoTz presented its Regulatory Compliance and Standards (RCS) framework, offering pre-built compliance packs aligned with international security mandates. Saptang Labs launched BlackFence, a national-scale cyber threat intelligence platform to combat fraud, phishing, impersonation, and brand abuse.
The product showcase was accompanied by insightful panel discussions on topics such as Mission Rakshak: Cybersecurity Startups for Bharat Defence, Unlocking Synergies for Greater Impact, and Navigating Challenges and Opportunities in the Startup Ecosystem. A startup pitch session also featured eight startups presenting their innovations to a panel of esteemed investors, emphasizing collaboration between government, academia, and industry to foster globally competitive, locally developed solutions.
