IAN and IIM Alumni Singapore Collaborate to Fund Startups in India and Singapore
The Indian Angel Network (IAN), a leading platform for seed and early-stage investments, has teamed up with IIM Alumni Singapore in a strategic partnership aiming to unite Asia's vibrant startup ecosystems of India and Singapore. This collaboration endeavors to encourage connections and joint ventures, fostering growth and innovation within both regions. The Indian Angel Network (IAN), known for its angel investing initiatives in India, and IIM Alumni Singapore, a network comprising professionals from prestigious Indian Institutes of Management, aim to capitalize on their combined strengths for mutual gains. 
This collaboration's impact is anticipated to extend to startups and investment opportunities. IAN investors are expected to access high-quality investment prospects in Singapore, leveraging the country's robust intellectual property protection and government backing. This aligns with IAN's overarching aim of contributing to the formation of globally impactful companies. Moreover, the partnership aims to support IAN's ambitious target of generating 500,000 jobs through investments in 500 startups with a fund allocation of Rs 5,000 crores. 
Members of the IIM Alumni Singapore community, in turn, foresee engagement with startups and opportunities in both the Indian and Southeast Asian markets. The collaboration offers reciprocal benefits, enabling the IIM Alumni Network to invest in and guide startups via IAN's platform. Startups associated with IIM Alumni Singapore will receive financial backing and mentorship from IAN's venture capital funds, alongside access to the extensive network of influential entrepreneurs and CEOs affiliated with IAN.
