Dharmendra Pradhan sets in motion 100 Cube Startup initiative of IIT-Bhubaneswar

Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Education Minister launched an proposal of Research and Entrepreneurship Park for IIT-Bhubaneswar, which is intended at generating 100 startups with a valuation of 100 crore each by the year 2036.

Regarding this, an official statement says, the startup initiative “The programme aims to create 100 start-ups, each with a valuation of 100 crore, by the 100th anniversary of Odisha in 2036”.

To accomplish this goal, the Entrepreneurship Park will provide crucial resources, mentorship, seed capital & admittance to potential investors. Also the statement adding that the park is set to spread out from its present 20,000-square-foot area to more than 80,000-square-foot over the next two years with the financial support of 130 crore.

Addressing the startup initiative in the event, the Union Minister said the youngsters of Odisha and somewhere else across the country are full of passion & enthusiasm towards whirling their ideas into flourishing ventures.

He also added, "The 100-Cube Start-up Initiative will shape the future of the entrepreneurship landscape of Odisha and India by creating a fertile environment.”

He underscored the development of Odisha-related startups through this initiative and urged the entrepreneurs across the country to come ahead to invest in inventive ventures.

Dharmendra also gave a call to the higher education institutions in Odisha & Eastern India to be a part of this unwavering mission. On the event, IIT-Bhubaneswar marked MoUs with 15 companies to put up strategic partnerships for achieving the 100 Cube startup program.
