Crayon Launches First ISV Incubation Center in India with AWS
Crayon Software Experts India has unveiled an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) incubation center in Bengaluru in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This center aims to aid Indian-based ISVs and startups in crafting cloud-based digital solutions catering to public sector domains such as agriculture, healthcare, utilities, smart infrastructure, and edtech. Through collaborative efforts with AWS, Crayon, and their associates, the incubation center will provide assistance to ISVs and startups, enabling them to materialize their business concepts using cloud technology. Additionally, it will facilitate the acceleration and scaling of their solutions for customers, expediting their market reach, as stated by Crayon.
"Through the launch of our inaugural ISV Incubation Centre in India, Crayon draws upon its extensive experience in engaging with ISVs, aiming to assist these enterprises in bringing their concepts to life", stated Vikas Bhonsle, CEO of Crayon Software Experts India. Bhonsle expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with AWS for this significant venture. He acknowledged the challenges that ISVs and startups encounter while striving to create viable solutions that meet public sector demands. The center's objective is to provide comprehensive training to these entities, covering aspects like formulating a cloud business strategy, understanding customer demographics, infrastructure migration, software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution development, leveraging advanced cloud capabilities such as machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI), and devising effective go-to-market strategies.
Graduating ISVs and startups will complete an average incubation period of six to nine months at the center. AWS and Crayon will facilitate these entities' development, aiming for their inclusion as members of the AWS Partner Network (APN), which boasts a global community exceeding 100,000 partners across 150 countries. Sunil PP, from Amazon Web Services India Private Limited, highlighted the creation of innovative, large-scale solutions in India leveraging cloud technology, benefiting sectors like healthcare, agriculture, financial inclusion, e-governance, and education.
He emphasized AWS's commitment to empowering local small businesses for driving economic and social impact, expressing delight in collaborating with Crayon to enable homegrown ISVs and startups to innovate using cloud capabilities. Within the inaugural cohort at the incubation center is EaseMyAI, an ISV specializing in AI-driven products simplifying automation for businesses, government organizations, and the education sector. Gagandeep Randhawa, CEO of EaseMyAI, expressed anticipation in leveraging Crayon and AWS's extensive customer and partner network to reinforce and expand their market presence.
