BML Munjal University to Host Leadership Summit on Youth and Startup Governance

BML Munjal University (BMU), a Hero Group initiative, will host the sixth edition of its annual Leadership Summit 2025 on October 31 at its Gurugram campus. The event will focus on 'Youth Entrepreneurship and Start-up Governance', exploring how young entrepreneurs can drive growth through innovation, responsibility, and strong governance practices.
The summit will also launch an exclusive report on Youth Entrepreneurship and Start-up Governance, based on a nationwide survey of students and professionals. The report examines what motivates India’s young founders such as innovation, social impact, and financial independence and the barriers they face, including funding challenges, regulatory hurdles, and skill gaps. It also evaluates how mentorship, incubation, and university-led programs are shaping future entrepreneurs.
Speaking ahead of the summit, Jolly Masih, Assistant Professor, School of Management, BMU, said the university aims to prepare youth to lead India’s next phase of growth through ethical and sustainable entrepreneurship. Dr. Vaishali Sharma, Co-chair of the Summit, added that the goal is to help young innovators become responsible job creators who can balance creativity with governance.

The event will include discussions on topics like financial integrity, investor trust, and scalable governance models, supported by the Atal Community Innovation Centre at BMU. Distinguished speakers include Dr. Sunil Kant Munjal, Akshay Munjal, and leaders from MeitY Startup Hub, Hero Enterprise, and Darwinbox.
