WaveX Partners with T-Hub to Empower India's Media-Tech Startups
- WaveX and T-Hub sign MoU to support creative and media-tech startups across India.

- Up to 10 incubation centres to be set up under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.
WaveX, an accelerator initiative under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB), Government of India, has joined hands with T-Hub, the world’s largest startup hub, to strengthen India’s growing media-tech and creative startup ecosystem. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the CEOs of WaveX and T-Hub in Hyderabad, in the presence of Sanjay Jaju, Secretary, MIB, and Sanjay Kumar, Special Chief Secretary, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Department, Government of Telangana.
Speaking at the event, Sanjay Jaju emphasized that India’s AVGC-XR (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality) sector is expanding rapidly and is becoming a vital part of the creative economy. He said that WaveX was conceptualized to accelerate startups and empower creators working at the intersection of media, entertainment, and technology.
Sanjay Kumar added that the partnership would play a key role in shaping a structured ecosystem for creative entrepreneurship. The initiative aims to help young creators transition from individual contributors to scalable business ventures capable of global reach.

With T-Hub serving as the anchor institution, WaveX plans to establish up to 10 incubation centres across the country. These centres will provide startups with access to mentorship, networks, and infrastructure, helping India’s creative talent innovate and grow globally.
