Balwaan Krishi Startup Expands Manufacturing And Warehousing Across India
  • Balwaan Krishi has launched a new manufacturing facility in Jaipur and set up regional warehouses across multiple states, aiming to build a pan-India agri-machinery distribution network.
  • The expansion will generate 500+ jobs and provide small farmers with faster, affordable access to modern farm equipment locally, reducing dependency on middlemen.
  • Backed by JM Financial Private Equity, the startup plans to scale operations and innovate crop-specific machinery to meet growth targets by FY 2026, already serving over 1 million farmers.

Balwaan Krishi, an India-based agritech startup, has made a major addition to its manufacturing and warehousing facilities to augment its pan-India footprint. The organization has commissioned a cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Jaipur that will increase production capacity to support its pan-India activities.

Regional warehouses have been set up in Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, the Northeast, and Kashmir in addition to existing facilities in Maharashtra, Assam, and West Bengal. The expansion is intended to establish a nation-wide comprehensive agri-machinery distribution chain.

The integrated network will create more than 500 new jobs and offer faster, more localized access to low-cost farm equipment for small and marginal farmers. By operating in sync with regional crop cycles and cutting delivery times, Balwaan Krishi aims to improve agricultural output and empower farmers. Through the availability of modern farm equipment at local levels and as a reliable source, Balwaan Krishi aims to provide farmers with the means to buy and maintain their equipment locally without middlemen.
This expansion is being funded by JM Financial Private Equity, and this money has been used to expand manufacturing capacity, construct warehousing infrastructure, and create crop-specific innovations. These projects are all part of Balwaan Krishi's plans for meeting its growth goals by the fiscal year 2026 and becoming a larger player in India's expanding agri-machinery market.
Established in 2016 by Rohit Bajaj and Shubham Bajaj, Balwaan Krishi has already reached over 1 million farmers and associated with over 2,000 dealers, including 575 tehsil-level partners. The firm has a strong online presence across platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and Moglix, aiding its vision to transform Indian agriculture through innovation and mass accessibility.
