Amagi is set to increase European Footprint with Teyllo Acquisition
Amagi is set to acquire Tellyo, a cloud remote production company, to enhance its cloud-based SaaS technology for broadcasting and TV. This strategic move is expected to strengthen Amagi's video toolset, particularly for live sports and news broadcasts, elevating the overall live video streaming and editing experience for its global customer base. Additionally, this acquisition marks an expansion of Amagi's footprint in Europe, building on the establishment of its development center in Croatia, the company's first outside of India, in the previous year.
By combining Tellyo's product development center in Poland with Amagi's technology hubs in India and Croatia, Amagi aims to accelerate cloud innovation in the region. Tellyo empowers media and content teams to generate live video content that can be seamlessly streamed to various digital and social media platforms through Stream Studio.
The platform facilitates the creation and immediate publication of branded video clips, highlights, and compilations to multiple channels with just one click from any location. Tellyo also plays a crucial role in facilitating real-time web conferences, events, and presentations by seamlessly integrating external contributors and commentators from various devices into productions. Athletes, actors, sponsors, ambassadors, and influencers leverage Tellyo to amplify their presence and engagement across social media channels.
