Calicut IT Firms To Incubate Startups

Bangalore: Kerala’s unconditional love towards startups and innovation has increased tremendously over the past few years and this in turn has triggered a sense of belonging in the eco-system. Calicut Forum for IT (Cafit), an association of small IT companies in Kozhikode, has announced that it will incubate startups in their premises through a not-for-profit initiative - Cafit Square Incubation programme as a part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activity, reports TOI.

The startups will be incubated for over six months and will soon move into the new campus where they will be provided a cubicle each. Cafit, which is formed by eighteen IT companies, is initiating such a concept as a part of their social responsibility. These companies have a staff strength of 10 to 120 employees each who will be assisting startups in their venture.
