But she has come a long way, having established her firm in the male-dominated confectionery circuit in Kerala. Having entered into the market 30 years ago, she recently stepped into the highly competitive confectionery market.
She says to ET, “With our condiments, you don't have to add anything.” The Anns condiments have sales of
60 lakh a month where as the bakeries which is a different sector, earns revenue of
12 crore. Besides from bakery and confectionery, Kottukappally has turned out to be successful in spices and masala trade within the state.
