4. Henry John Kaiser
American Industrialist
This American industrialist started a road- paving business in 1914. In 1927 he landed a $20 million contract, before joining forces with other major contractors in 193.Later he opened the Western U.S. integrated steel plant. After WWII, his companies started projects with houses and cars.
He is known as the father of modern American shipbuilding. He established the Kaiser Shipyard which was used during in World War II, after which he formed Aluminum and Steel companies which is multi-billion dollar corporation today.
5. Ted Turner
American Media Tycoon
At the age of 24 where he took over running his father's billboard company,along with this Turner began building his media empire. He soon bought a UHF TV station and launched Turner Broadcasting System in 1963. In 1980, when Turner launched CNN, the first 24-hour news channel, that he made his mark on the world.
Before CNN, people didn't not think that a 24 hour a day news channel was possible. As a busy executive Ted was unable to follow news twice a day and hence he came up with the idea of CNN was born. He was very confident that it will work. CNN was launched and the first 24 hour news channel, that he made his mark on the globe.“Captain Planet” and the “Planeteers” is an American environmentalist television program created by Ted Turner and others. It was an action adventure packed animated series which had 155 episodes and was distributed by Warner bros.
