A technical cofounder needs to prioritize everything well. He needs to see what fixes well with the problems, support requests and feature requests that customers come with.

#8 Lead and balance well, besides listening to feedback

A good technical cofounder will have the ability to interact well with customers. They will also listen to them as well as take the lead. There is a need to get the essence of the problem as well as find some unique ways to solve issues. The feedback may not be directly from them, but from metrics.

#9 Know weaknesses

Though there it is necessary to bear the burden of being a technical cofounder from the beginning, they will strive for better technical heirs to take over weaknesses. This advice is also applied to business cofounders, but it is easy to distinguish between technical weaknesses as well.

#10 A formal CS degree

Technical cofounders need to learn many fundamentals of programming, database design, etc. Good technical skills come from building things and experiencing work with smarter technical cofounders. It is always good to have a good educational foundation in basic programming concepts.  Though a fair number of them, don’t have it, it is certainly nice to have a degree.
