Bangalore: Startups these days are coming up with unique ways to keep their employees rejuvenated. Besides the free food and the drinks available at offices, these startups mentioned below have introduced a whole new culture for themselves. From being silent on one day, to treating the company with breakfast, these startups have come up with creative ideas that older firms would have never thought of.

#10 Maptia’s founders moved the whole company to Morocco

Maptia’s co-founder Jonny Miller has instilled a unique work culture within this startup. He and his other two partners moved their firm to Morocco in order to lead a low cost office life.

The Maptians are graduates from the TechStars Seattle program. After they completed the program, instead of going back home to London, they preferred a cheaper place to live so that their seed money of $100,000 would last as long as possible as they are building a travel site.

They then found a cheap apartment which is only 10 meters away from the Atlantic Ocean in a town called Taghazout of Morocco.

Now all five team members of Maptia live there. They stop work when surf is up and their cost of living is really low. Miller says that each person can feed himself with $10 per week.
