His release from the Delhi side was much of a surprise, being the skipper of the team. But IPL has the way to bid for the blazing, his performances with the bat been not as good as used to be.

KP as he is known entered the IPL in 2009, his first outing with Royal Challengers Bangalore for two seasons was not impressive. Later on he signed up with Delhi Daredevils for 2012 and 2014 seasons playing a key role impacting the team but couldn’t make the team chance better.

This year he is with the Hyderabad Sunrisers for a bargain price of 2crore, marked key player in the side with the likes of his England colleagues Morgan and Bopara. He won’t be available in the league stages, though his impact on the game on his return is expected hugely.
