Famous celebrity couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have made a noteworthy entry into the event promotion and intellectual property realm with the introduction of their new project, Nisarga. This venture is anticipated to emphasize the promotion of meaningful events, the creation of distinctive components within established intellectual properties (IPs), and the spearheading of inventive and original platforms.
For its first major step, Nisarga has forged a strategic alliance with Elite Octane, a well-known firm specializing in motorsports and entertainment events. Elite Octane is famous for its ownership of prominent intellectual properties like 'The Valley Run.' This partnership indicates Nisarga's ambition to become a significant presence in the event promotion industry, and there are promising developments to look forward to in the future.
Elite Octane will be instrumental in executing various activities and creating new platform segments, especially in the domains of motorsports and entertainment, it added. The calendar of events currently comprises three motorsports events, expos, and one music concert, including innovative youth-connect programs. In a joint statement, Anushka and Virat said Nisarga embodies their values and vision in what they do personally and professionally.
"Nisarga's initiatives will promote these perspectives, the impact of which will be seen as we embark on this journey and execute them on the ground through engaging experiences so that we leave behind more than what we were given", they said. The company's top management includes Taha Coburn Kutay as its CEO leading the global operations and strategic partnerships, Shivank Sidhu overseeing strategic marketing, events, and alliances and Ankur Nigam, COO, leading finance, legal and transactions, citing the statement.
