# Toyota 2000GT Roadster

The Sixties movie ‘You Only Live Twice’ featured Sean Connery in a new Bond car, the Toyota 2000GT. But this was mainly driven by the main character Bond girl Akiko ‘Aki’ Wakabayashi who played the role of a Japanese agent in the movie.

When inside the car scene was shot in the movie, Sean Connery was too tall to comfortably fit into the car and so, the filming of the interior shots proved to be slightly tricky.

The Toyota 2000GT roadster was a limited edition car that was produced from 1967 to 1970 where only 531 units were made. Designed by Toyota in collaboration with Yamaha, the company showed the world that even Japanese companies can produce sports cars.

# Ford Mustang Mach 1

The movie “Diamonds are forever” involves a thrilling car chase sequence with this car. The Mach 1 in the film has red exterior, and black and red leather interior. The Ford Mustang Mach 1 was a performance-oriented package for the Ford Mustang that was introduced in 1969. The car featured in the movie came with a 7-litre engine under its hood.
