The Most Bizarre Beaches In The World

Grass Beach In Kourou, French Guiana:

As the name suggests the beach is indeed located on a shore of grass. Amazingly unlike any other beach in the world, the sea beats and comes to rest on a shore of grass and not sand.

This is just fascinating, a beach where one does not have to worry about the sand getting stuck inside clothes which later need long hours of washing. If you are not a lover of beaches that have sandy shores, well now you have an alternative place to visit, Kourou.

Maho Beach:

Do you want to experience extreme turbulence and also touch a plane while it’s still in flight? Then take a vacation to Saint Martin Island in the Caribbean, where the beach is so close to the airport that when a plane descends to land one can actually touch the plane.

People go to the beach just to feel the turbulence of the plane and also catch a glimpse of the giant bird. The underside of this adventure though is that due to heavy jet blast, objects and debris from the beach can cause severe injuries.

Pink Sand Beach, Bahamas:

Well so far we have an underground beach and a grass beach that has defied logic, well to add on to that list is the pink sand beach in the Bahamas. Along the shores of this beach in the Bahamas, rests chunks of loose corals that are broken down by the sea and then wash ashore.

These pieces of corals are pink and thus covering the sand makes the beach look pink. A marvel to behold and a place worth spending some cash on just to relish this gift of nature.
