Chamundeshwari Temple
The chamundeshwari temple is located around 13 kms from Mysore and 190 kms away from the Bangalore city. Situated on top of the Chammundi hill, the temple was named after Chamundeshwari or Durga, the fierce form of Shakti. The temple showcases several images of Nandi including huge granite idol which is 15 feet high and 24 feet long.
