American musician David Michael Alexander was the original bassist for leading proto punk band ‘The Stooges’. The 1970’s ‘China girl and Sister Midnight’ from the album ‘Idiot’ are among some of the popular songs from the band.
Dave Alexander was associated with drinking which eventually led to his hospitalization for pancreatitis. Shortly a while later, he died from pulmonary adema on February 10th, 1975.
#Kurt Cobain
The 1900’s Grunge icon, Kurt Donald Cobain was the lead singer and song writer for the band Nirvana. He attracted millions of followers all around with his songs “Come as you are, Man who sold the world and Smells like Teen spirit”.
Cobain's struggles with heroin addiction, illness and depression had led him to commit suicide on April 5, 1994.
