Revamped 2017 Chevrolet Trax

Chevrolet reinvigorated the technology with its own 2015 model Trax. Just after 13 months of launch of its previous version, Chevrolet made significant changes in the previous variant’s exterior and interior. They changed the Trax facelift and made the front quite similar to Chevrolet Volt and Bolt and the cockpit is also upgraded but the internal mechanics remains the same.

Chevrolet integrated a 7-inch touch screen at the center of its stack to effectively use its MyLink infotainment system. The new MyLink system is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The OnStar 4G LTE telematics system is also introduced in this version to provide Wi-Fi hotspot for up to seven devices.

2017 Kia Niro

In Chicago Auto Show 2016, Kia Motors unveiled its new model 2017 Kia Niro. Kia used the similar drivetrain as used by the Hyundai Ioniq. Niro gets its fuel efficiency from Atkinson cycle 1.4-liter direct injection four-cylinder engine aiming for an average mileage of 50 mpg. A 1.6-kWh lithium ion polymer battery is injected in it and for better transmission, an electric motor is also integrated in it. Engine and motor produces a combined force of 146 hp and torque of 195 pound per feet. A 7-inch LCD is stacked at the center of the cockpit that is inbuilt with UVO3 infotainment system and compatible to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Niro size is slight smaller from the midsize Sorento but larger than Kia Sportage.
