Mistakes to Avoid During a Video Job Interview

Eye-Contact

Regular eye-contact with the interviewer makes you confident and it helps in the healthy flow of conversations. Proper eye-contact is a signal given that shows that connection is made and it’s totally okay if you’re looking down occasionally to take down notes as it clearly indicates the amount of engagement and care dedicated. Prior to the interview, make certain that good eye-level positioning and head and shoulders are framed in the screen. Most importantly, never look at the mini version of you in the video call to check whether you’re fine.
