Andy Martin, a father of three, was given 30 days’ redundant notice from his company back in 2012. The 45 year old started a daily blog outlining his search efforts and decided to auction himself off on eBay for £20,000. However, eBay informed him that he was breaching their site’s policy, but was allowed to post him under the “goods wanted section”."I knew I could either stay bitter and angry, which I was, about losing my job, or I could do something about it. It is a whole new world so I have had to quickly get up to speed," he told the Daily Mail.
