Mahindra to Launch its Most Awaited Bike 'Mojo' In October


BENGALURU: Most awaited bike from four years; Mahindra Mojo’s first look was showcased to world at 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. The bike was scheduled to be launched in 2013 but it got postponed due to sales concerns. The bike is now ready to hit the roads, reports NDTV Auto.

Since the time of its showcase as a concept, it went through many changes and now the production version looks quite different from the concept. Mahindra two wheeler dealers have started taking pre-orders for the upcoming bike, as it is expected to be launched in October, 2015.

Mahindra has revised Mojo’s design—twin head lights, features a digital speedometer along with an analogue tachometer with a shift light and low-fuel warning indicators. The bike also features radial brakes and USD forks.

The liquid-cooled bike with a 6 speed transmission has a 4 stroke, single cylinder engine with an output of 27bhp and 25Nm.

The company is providing hands on experience; Mahindra selected some college students, working professionals and professional riders, and provided them with the new bike to ride on all the kinds of roads, in different weather conditions across India. The company is collecting the first opinions and feedbacks from them.
