Indians Can Use JioFinance App for Payments at Tourist Attractions in Paris
Jio Financial Services Ltd. has introduced the JioFinance app in Paris, allowing Indian travelers to make digital payments at select tourist attractions in the French capital. This initiative coincides with the Paris Olympics, which has drawn sports enthusiasts from around the world.
The JioFinance app enables international payments for purchasing tickets to the Eiffel Tower and for in-store shopping at Galeries Lafayette Paris Hausmann. Indian travelers can now use the app to buy tickets through the official website of the Eiffel Tower, La Tour Eiffel, and shop in-store at the renowned Parisian department store, Galeries Lafayette Paris Hausmann.
In collaboration with Visa, the official payments partner of the Olympic Games Paris 2024, JioFinance has extended its reach to India House. India House, designed by Reliance Foundation in partnership with the Indian Olympic Association, showcases the JioFinance app.
"Visa is the official payments partner of the Olympic Games Paris 2024, and in partnership with Visa, JioFinance also has a presence at India House", stated the Reliance-owned company.
JioFinance aims to offer a seamless digital experience for Indian users, regardless of their familiarity with financial technology. "Designed for frictionless navigation, JioFinance ensures effortless money management at their fingertips", the company added.
This launch represents a significant step in enhancing the travel experience for Indian tourists in Paris, providing them with convenient and efficient payment solutions during their visit.
