Delhi Auto Expo 2016: All the Details

The event will be mutually organized by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) and the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) at the India Exposition Mart Ltd (IEML) in Greater Noida from 5th to 9th February.

Since the occupancy of the arena has been increased by 37,240 sq. metres, the expo centrenow attributes eight halls and the event will be the largest in the Indian auto history. Further the SIMA has expected to see at least 20 percent rise in crowd gathering in this upcoming occasion.

Participating brands:

What makes the auto savvies go crazy about the Delhi expo? You guessed it right! It is the brands that are participating in the expo that play an integral role in attracting crowd. Relatively, the list of participating brands includes Ashok Leyland, Audi India, BMW India, Datsun, Fiat India, Ford India, General Motors, Honda Cars India, Hyundai Motor India, Isuzu Motors India, Jaguar Land Rover, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki India, Mercedes-Benz India, Nissan Motor India, Renault India, Scania Commercial Vehicles India, SML Isuzu, Tata Motors, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, VE Commercial Vehicles and Volkswagen India.

However those who will attend the event can also witness the auto models of the entrants like Abarth, BMW Motorrad, Jeep, DSK Benelli, Indian Motorcycle, etc. Participants of the two wheeler sector include Hero MotoCorp, India Yamaha, Mahindra 2 wheelers, Piaggio Vehicles, Suzuki Motorcycle India, Triumph Motorcycles India, TVS Motor Company and many more.

Surprisingly popular brand names like Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, Bajaj Auto, Royal Enfield and Harley Davidson will stay out of the Expo.

Apart from the motored vehicles, the expo will exhibit high-end bicycles, tyres and tubes, oil companies, Automotive Design and Technology, Engineering and IT for automobile companies, institutions, universities, auto insurance companies with the media and auto portals/magazines on the list too.
