Dhanushkodi: The Forbidden City
Dhanushkodi is a ghost town at the south-eastern part of Pamban Island. The city was completely destroyed in 1964 cyclone infamously called as the Dhanushkodi cyclone. This place has some sacred confluence according to Hindus because of the Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean.
