Rumours are making the wave in the auto industry that the company is working on a Direct-Injected Turbo-Charged (DiCT) powerplants for the upcoming hatch back named ‘YRA’. It is expected to be a 1.0 liter turbo-charged petrol engine that will offer a maximum output of 90bhp. It is also said that the turbo charged engine might replace the existing engines on the Swift and Ertiga models. Now as the turbo-charged engines are acquiring the lime light as the current for the manufacturers to go with, the future of petrol and diesel cars seems to be bright. With the frequent increasing in the petrol prices, the turbo-charged engines can be considered as the best buying option for the Indian consumers. So let’s hope for the further development of fuel saving engines so that we can count on making frequent road trips.
