UNESCO's Recently Added World Heritage Sites


BENGALURU: Peace being the main objective, United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has added some places to its list of cultural properties which includes some of the national parks, coral reefs, and archeological sites. Here are 10 of those recent additions which made it to the list:

Antequera Dolmens Site (Spain):

There are about three large megalithic structures in southern Spain located at the heart of Andalusia. The Dolmen of Menga is one of the structures which scales about 25 meters in length, 5 meters in width and 4 meters height. These structures were built during the Neolithic and Bronze Age carved out of large stone blocks. The most significant part is the architectural work of three tombs which are buried below earth tumuli.
