TVS to Launch Apache RTR 200 with 2 Variants on Jan 20

BANGALORE: We still remember the good old 180cc motor powered TVS Apache RTR 180 and we loved every bit of it. Now, there’s even better one that will hit the roads in the coming days as TVS is all set to unveil the 200cc powered Apache RTR dubbed as ‘Apache RTR 200’.  An Indonesian auto web portal shared the production-ready pictures of the spoken bike and these images have made the bike enthusiasts even more curious, reports NDTV.

The recent report confirmed that the new Apache 200 will be launched on January 20th. However, the bike specs are not revealed but by the name it goes to say that the bike will be powered by 200cc single cylinder engine. Still unclear about the other details but there are rumours that suggest the new bike will churn out a power of 25Bhp with 22Nm of torque.

Furthermore, the bike is expected to be launched with two variants – one with 17-inch alloy wheels, petal discs and TVS tyres and the premium variant will feature Pirelli tyres and dual-channel ABS.

According to the leaked images on Indonesian website, the new Apache will sport all LED DRLs, V-shaped headlight and a new digital speedometer that displays odometer, clock, fuel gauge and even the selected gear indicator. Overall, the bike is expected to be sold within a price range of 85,000 to 95,000.
