Most Spine Tingling Churches in the World

  1. Most Holy Trinity Church, New York (US):

It is said that the first two pastors of this church were buried in a tomb under the narthex; the third died on the premises in 1895, and still haunts the room in which he died. In addition, George Stelz who was the parish sexton and the bell ringer was killed in the vestibule in 1897. Remarkably, the Stelz’s blood still remains on the walls in a bell tower stairway and there are claims saying that bells ring by themselves at times.

  1. St. Nicholas Church, Pluckley (UK):

The village of Pluckley is one of the haunted places in the whole of England. Famous for the Red Lady Ghost (i.e. Lady Dering) who roams around the graves searching for her missing baby, the village of Pluckley reportedly have 12 active spirits. People have witnessed seeing lights in the church, when nobody was inside. Just like Red Lady Ghost, the inside of the church is haunted by the White Lady, who was the wife of a Lord Dering 500 years ago. She was a great beauty and her husband had her body kept in a series of lead coffin placed inside an oaken chest.
