The EOLAB is a gas-electric hybrid powertrain that claims an amazing 100 kilometers per liter of fuel consumed, with the electric power adding another 59 kilometers to the trip. The car’s excess weight is trimmed out from all possible sections and is made of multi-material body combining steel, aluminum and magnesium bringing the overall weight to near only a ton. Renault claims it has infused about 100 production-destined technological innovations which could feature in its production cars before 2020.
